Asset intelligence may support pre-litigation decisions, litigation, enforcement assessment, financing or a counterparty review. The questions should reflect the intended use and the jurisdictions involved.
An international investor may rely on a Brazilian project company. Counsel may need to understand relationships between an offshore respondent and assets in Brazil. The investigation follows those material connections rather than assuming the asset and contracting party are in the same country.
Trace recorded ownership and relationships.
The scope can include relevant corporate holdings, ownership structures and publicly traceable asset indicators. Records are reviewed for identity, date and the rights or interests they actually describe.
Registered ownership, beneficial interest, use, possession and control are not interchangeable. Encumbrances, third-party claims and changes after the record date may require additional investigation and legal analysis.

We do not imply access to confidential bank balances, private financial accounts or restricted government systems. Lawful source availability varies by asset type and jurisdiction.
An absence of accessible records does not establish that no assets exist. The report explains what was searched, what was identified and which questions could not be resolved.

Findings can help counsel prioritize further research and evaluate possible enforcement approaches. Whether an asset is reachable, attachable or sufficient depends on legal and factual considerations beyond a registry result.
